Courtney Rainer LICSW, MSW
Have you experienced a traumatic event? Are you or your child experiencing challenges in work, school or just managing life stress in general? I enjoy working with teens and emerging adults on figuring out their identity and place in the world, adults who have made space for everyone else’s feelings except their own, and people who are dealing with life transitions and managing stress in everyday life.
Therapy can be overwhelming, which is why my goal is to create a space that is safe and comfortable. I aim to make therapy accessible and non threatening by building a relationship first, because I believe healing and growth occurs when you feel seen and understood. My goal is to best serve my clients and find what works best for them. Therapy isn’t one size fits all and I try to find the best fit for each of my clients.
I am a licensed independent clinical social worker in Washington State who has been in practice working with individuals and families since 2021. I graduated undergrad from Pacific Lutheran University in 2020 and graduated with my masters in social work from Arizona State University in 2023. I am trained in CBT+ for Anxiety, Depression and Trauma, CBT, Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), I enjoy walking by the waterfront, reading/listening to audiobooks, and drinking good coffee.
Whether you have previous experience in individual or family therapy, or if this is your first time, I am ready to help you feel your best and get to where you want to be.
